Checking the Battery Percentage on the Apple Pencil (USB-C)

How to Check an Apple Pencil's Battery Percentage with an Apple iPad

1. Using the iPad’s Bluetooth Settings after that your Apple Pencil is paired with your device:

• Settings > Bluetooth®
• Locate “Apple Pencil” under the My Devices header.
• Tap the information icon next to the Apple Pencil and its battery percentage will appear on the next screen. 

2. Using the iPad’s Apple Pencil Settings after your Apple Pencil is paired with your device:

• Settings > Apple Pencil.
• Battery percentage will display on the top right next to the name.

3. Using the battery widget for the iPad after your Apple Pencil is paired with your device. 

You can add the battery widget to your iPad by following these steps:

• Touch and hold any empty space on your iPad’s Home Screen until the icons start to jiggle.
• Tap the “+” icon on the top-leftmost corner.
• Select Batteries from the left sidebar. You can also look it up using the search bar.
• Choose the widget size and select Add Widget to bring it onto your home screen. You can also drag and drop the widget if you prefer.
